Handing over the Betza treatise to President Mattarella

By management on 6 December 2021

In occasion of release of the latest volume of the Talmud Babylonian Translation Project, on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the Quirinal Palace, the Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community of Rome, rav Riccardo Di Segni, the President of the National Research Council, Chiara Carrozza, and the Director of the Talmud Babylonian Translation Project, Clelia Piperno, presented the new treatise Betzah to the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.

The Betzah volume is the sixth part of the most important “Digital Humanism” Project ever undertaken, the Babylonian Talmud.

We once again thank the President for his closeness to the aims of the Project and for the warmth shown to us during the meeting, which is a source of pride for us.
