Presentation 4th Edited Treatise: Qiddushin

By management on 29 October 2019

It is an absolute pleasure to announce another important milestone reached in this prestigious journey: the release of the fourth volume of the Babylonian Talmud in Italian, edited by our President rav Riccardo Shemuel Di Segni, Qiddushìn.

Qiddushìn, the treatise on marriage, is devoted to the manner in which the marriage bond is established. Composed of 82 dappìm in the Italian edition, published by Giuntina, it is spread over two tomes of 490 and 518 pages.

In order to share with all of you the extraordinary results produced, the Talmud Project on Tuesday, November 5, at 5 p.m., at Venice International University held an event to present the Babylonian Talmud treatise in Italian “Qiddushìn”. The volume was presented in a meeting where Ambassador Umberto Vattani, President of Venice International University, Chief Rabbi of Venice Rav Roberto Della Rocca, Professor Paolo Lucca of Ca’ Foscari University, , Chief Rabbi of Florence Rav Gad Fernando Piperno and Dr. Riccardo Calimani will participate. The meeting will be closed by the Director of the Talmud Project, Professor Clelia Piperno. Moderating the event will be Gazzettino journalist Roberto Papetti.
