Essential mission in Argentina of the Babylonian Talmud Translation Project
During an institutional mission to promote the Babylonian Talmud Translation Project that took place last past week, the Director Clelia Piperno met the Italian Ambassador, Giuseppe Manzo, representatives of the B’nai B’rith of Buenos Aires and important exponents of the Argentine Community.
All the stakeholders involved in the mission expressed deep interest in the projects related to the Talmud, especially with a view to the possible development of translation into Spanish.
“These were extremely fruitful meetings that lay the foundations for building the third international project of inclusion and translation, this time in Spanish – explains the Director, Clelia Piperno – The purpose is also to work with the Institutions and the Community to enhance our software, making it more and more a translator to comprehend the whole world, and to share and spread the values and general goals of the Babylonian Talmud Translation Project with the communities of South America, starting from the Argentine community “.
