MIUR Minister Marco Bussetti Present at Milan Talmud Project Presentation
A presentation of the Babylonian Talmud Translation Project is set for Monday, May 20 from 10 a.m in Milan, in the lovely venue of the National Museum of Science and Technology, the event “The Talmud Project, Technology for a New Idea of Global Citizenship” will be held.
The event will be honored by the presence of the Minister of Education, University and Research Marco Bussetti, who has expressed his closeness to the Project on more than one occasion.
The meeting, in addition to presenting the Project and its evolutions, aims to deepen the strong link between the individual and the machine, a necessary union for the development of a new model of global citizenship.
The reciprocity brought about by research applied to the implementation of artificial intelligence software promotes the evolution of the current vertical model to a horizontal one, where cultures, religions, diversity, ethnicities, and sexual orientations can coexist in a better society thanks to the development and use of increasingly innovative technologies.
The Babylonian Talmud Translation Project through the Traduco software is considered a best practice and a worldwide unicum in the construction of this model based on the coexistence of cultures and religions.
Representatives of our members, CNR President Massimo Inguscio and Giorgio Mortara, Vice President of UCEI, will also bring their institutional greetings to the meeting.
Speakers during the morning will include Prof. Clelia Piperno, Director of the Talmud Project, Prof. Rita Cucchiara, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Rav Gad Piperno, Quality Manager of the Talmud Project, Maria Cristina Messa, Rector of the University of Milan Bicocca.
Minister of Education University and Research Marco Bussetti will conclude the event.
The meeting will be moderated by Gianluca Giansante, Partner at Comin & Partners.
